Femcon Fe

Femcon Fe is the only birth control pill that you can chew (available in spearmint flavor). It is an estrogen and progestin combination contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy.  You can swallow it like a conventional pill, or just put the pill in your mouth and chew. Then be sure to wash it down with an 8-ounce glass of your favorite drink.

If taken correctly on a daily basis, Femcon Fe is as much as 99% effective in preventing pregnancy, but there is still a 1% chance that you could get pregnant. Furthermore, missing a pill or taking a pill a few hours later than normal can decrease the effectiveness. Certain medications like antibiotics are also known to increase the chance of your birth control pill failing.

Femcon Fe may also be used to regulate the menstral cycle, treat symptoms of menopause, or treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
